A Walk in the Woods can be enlightening, relaxing, lovely, inspiring and fun. It can also be dark, shivery, endless and downright scary. Such is the life of the Mike and Melissa Wood Family.
Mike and I have been married for 18 years, have spawned 5 crazy kids, have lived through 10 years of school, bouts of kidney stones (both of us) and the holidays. Mike is a PharmD and works for a national company. He travels alot and racks up a lot of Delta Sky Miles and Marriot Rewards, which come in handy whenever the Utes play in a bowl. Josh is 16, Carley in 14, Erin is 12, Elizabeth is 10 and Autumn is 5. They are the main players in our daily drama. As for me, I enjoy losing things and spending hours looking for them. I love to burn dinner, fight with my kids, change lightbulbs, and put gas in my truck during sub-zero temps.. I don't believe in sarcasm in any form nor do I enjoy a good belly laugh. My kids are embarrassed of my behavior, my husband rolls his eyes in front of my back, my friends think I'm off my rocker, my Mom finds my troubles hilarious, and I love all of it. It is great to be alive. Except on Friday night, when I'm too tired to be nice and just want to slip into a coma. But only until morning!!
